Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh ,India

Pachmarhi is a beautiful hill station in central India in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is mainly famous for its scenic beauty which includes many waterfalls like Apsara Vihar, single-drop Silver Fall nearby, the bee fall. Ancient Pandav Caves, Dhoopgarh(sunset point), A famous Lord Shiva Temple at Chauragarh. And Satpura Tiger Reserve.

During my trip to Pachmarhi, I feel that If planned better I might have saved some bucks.

So here I am to make your trip amazing by eliminating a few wrong decisions which I face:

  • To book a hotel I suggest you make the booking from the official mptourism website. You will see the noticeable difference in price listings as compared to other online hotel booking websites. If on a medium budget trip you can opt for hotel panchvati, it was really good.
  • Figure out the best possible route to reach there. Personal Vehicle would be a good choice or you can hire from Pipariya(43 km away from Pachmarhi and nearest railway station from Pachmarhi and have good connectivity to Mumbai, Bhopal, and Delhi).
  • Try to cover the main tourist spots because there are plenty of them and if you're by the personal vehicle hire a guide they are really helpful with routes. Or you can hire the gypsy which either the hotels provide or they will help you to come across with a provider.
  • Avoid wandering during night times it's a tiger reserve area.
  • If you're a wildlife lover you can book a safari for Satpura National Park. If lucky enough you can end up with spotting a tiger but bison, four horned deer and other herbivores could be easily spotted.

Pachmarhi
As Queen of Satpura, Pachmarhi is a wonderful place you find the amidst peace, serenity, fresh and rejuvenating atmosphere. It's really a beautiful queen.

Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan INDIA

Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India. It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple. Also in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its abundance of water lilies.

Recently I have been to this amazing place , the place where you can experience the thrill of wildlife, forests and ancient history of Ranthambore fort. To be honest it was a great experience watching tiger. Which I had a luck in my second time safari. Resort in which I stayed was also good enough and not that costly, but the services was poor. Also the booking for safari was a hassle.

So here is my personal experience for you to have that amazing trip hassle free :

  • First of all you need to book your safari ride you can book by yourself from official site https://fmdss.forest.rajasthan.gov.in/ where you will find the original government charges which is really way too less than the charges which are charged by brokers and other sites.
  • There are 10 zones in national park for visitors, but It is true that some of them are very good safari zones in Ranthambore National Park. These are included zone no.3, 4, 2, 5 and 6 where there are maximum chances of spotting a tiger. If you are really lucky you can than enter into any zone, tigers are everywhere in Ranthambore.Make sure to book atleast 2-3 weeks prior so that you can have your desired zone.
  • Choose your accomodation wisely if you are booking online. Because there are too many resorts and even the best ones can give you a bad experience in terms of ammenities and services.

Things to remember when you will get there :

  • Try to reach a day before your safari booking. So you can get familiar with the location and routes as you need to get 45 min prior to your safari timing to collect your boarding passes. Office is in Shilpgram.
  • Carry essentials while you enter the forest like water bottle, sunglasses, cap or scarf as its really dusty in forest.
  • Also avoid wandering in night near the national park boundaries also. You'll know where I mean when you get there.
If you are reading this just go for this wonderful place.
